Dirt Track Racing Cars

Circle track racing by dirt track racing cars is a very popular car race run on oval tracks. It was started in the US during the 1920s and 30s. Two different types of racecars are run on these tracks - the purpose-built open wheel racecars and the stock cars, which are either purpose-built race cars or street vehicles turned into race cars.

Dirt track race is the most popular car race in the United States. There is as high a number of such race-tracks in the country as certainly not less than 1500 as per an estimate made recently. Australia and Canada are no less enthusiastic about such track-races too.
