Drag Racing Cars for Sale
Drag racing cars for sale make the majority of race cars changing hands in the markets.
The basic design of circle track racing is a straight line design. The participating cars cover a given straight-line distance as fast as they can. This distance can be 400 m or 200 m. The vehicles may or may not be given the signal to start at the same time, compensating for the handicap that the slower cars have as compared to the faster ones.
Everyday cars can never be as fast as purpose-built dragsters are. An average street car covers 400m in around 15 to 20 seconds whereas a top fuel dragster can cover the same distance in as little as 4.5 seconds.
Circle track racing started in the early 1950s, organized by NHRA (National Hot Rod Association), the largest motorsports sanctioning body in the world, formed to discourage street racing.
